Dr. Justin Smith brings a wealth of experience, discipline, and compassion to his dental practice—shaped by decades of service both in dentistry and in the United States Air Force.
A proud veteran, Dr. Smith served over 25 years in the military across multiple roles, including Active Duty, National Guard, and Air Force Reserves. His service includes 9 years of active duty early in his career, followed by continued commitment in the North Carolina National Guard and Air Force Reserves. He later returned to Active Duty as a dentist from 2010–2014, continuing to care for service members before completing his final years of service in the Reserves through 2021.
This extensive military background gives Dr. Smith a unique understanding of the needs of veterans and their families. He is deeply committed to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to those who have served our country and is proud to welcome VA patients into his practice.
Dr. Smith’s clinical approach is rooted in precision, integrity, and patient-first care—values reinforced throughout his military career. He combines advanced dental training with a calm, approachable demeanor to ensure every patient feels comfortable and confident in their treatment.
In addition to his commitment to patient care, Dr. Smith is also dedicated to staying up to date with the latest advances in dental technology and techniques. He is a member of the American Dental Association and regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure that he provides the best possible care to his patients. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and staying active within the community.
